Description
An incredible tour to get ready to cross the mountain range with a variety of landscapes such as the imposing Sierra Alvear, at the foot of which lies a gigantic peat valley; our first stop is the Carbajal Valley, which later changes its name to Tierra Mayor and Las Cotorras. When the route passes by the Rancho Hambre spot, the ascent begins. At 430 m above sea level, at the Garibaldi Pass, we will enjoy an unparalleled view of the Escondido and Fagnano Lakes. Our second stop will be at the imposing Mirador from where we will be able to appreciate the Escondido Lake. We will visit a beaver farm to observe up close how beavers live, their ingenious constructions of dams and dens, and how they organize their environment to keep themselves safe. We will continue to Fagnano Lake, where we will have our next technical stop. Leaving here, we will rejoin the route to start the tour through the sawmill area, where the lenga trees form a dense and even forest. On the way back to the city, we will make a stop at a winter center on the route where we will visit a local gin distillery and enjoy a lunch of traditional Fuegian lamb.Includes
