Description

We invite you to reach the true End of the World and feel the thrill of being in a unique and magical place. Travelers to Ushuaia cannot leave without visiting the end of the Pan-American Highway, which starts in Alaska and, after more than 15,000 kilometers, ends within Tierra del Fuego National Park. Here, you can find markers and maps for that must-have photo proving you reached this milestone. Beyond, just 1,000 kilometers away, lies Antarctica. Around 07:30 AM, we will pick you up from your hotel and head towards Tierra del Fuego National Park, located 12 kilometers from downtown Ushuaia. Before entering the park, we will stop at the End of the World Train station (optional), where those interested can take a ride on this historic train. The journey lasts about 60 minutes and concludes inside the park. Those not taking the train can enjoy a short walk in the Fuegian forest. Once the train ride is over, the group will reunite inside the park with the vehicle and guide to continue the tour towards Ensenada, a bay that blends the Andes, sub-Antarctic forest, and sea, creating a unique ecosystem in Argentina. This area was once inhabited by indigenous peoples, and their archaeological remains can be seen here. There is also the southernmost postal office in America, where you can sometimes send postcards to anywhere in the world. Next, we will visit other scenic points for short walks to appreciate the flora and fauna, which will amaze you with their beauty. Highlights include Acigami (Roca) Glacier Lake, shared with Chile, and Lapataia Bay, where you will find the sign marking the end of the Pan-American Highway, among other sites.
