Description
After an early start, head to the picturesque village of San Antonio de Areco to discover its many unique traditional workshops and charming little streets. Wander around the wide variety of workshops ready to be visited to admire the skills of the local craftsman, specialized in gold, silver, and leather.
On the edge of the village runs the idyllic river Areco, which you will cross to go to the Ricardo Güiraldes Museum, giving you a sample of gaucho life. This is the ideal place to enjoy a parilla with succulent Argentinian meat in one of the small restaurants which offer meals at reasonable prices. On the way back, stop by the stunning cathedral of Lujan, the second pilgrimage site in Latin America.
Please note that due flooding, the Ricardo Güiraldes museum is closed until further notice. We are looking for an alternative to fulfill the program. You can contact us to customize this tour.
