The El Pico Palma ranch in Carrera Tupungato is a ranch surrounded by the mountains of the majestic Cordón del Plata and the Pre cordillera. This exclusive corner of the Andes mountain range is known as La Carrera valley. The ranch is located at 2000 meters above sea level and has belonged to the Palma family for more than 250 years. It is a unique place to rest, run by its owners to offer you an unforgettable experience. 'Imagine waking up in an incomparable natural environment, surrounded by the majesty of the Andes mountain range and the Tupungato volcano. At Estancia El Pico, we invite you to experience the authenticity of our history and tradition, to connect with nature and enjoy the exclusivity of our personalized attention. Join our community of nature lovers, respect for traditions and the local community. Exclusive Country Day Reception at the lodge with tea, coffee and homemade pastries. Includes: Exclusive horseback riding for an hour and a half on top-level Creole horses equipped with excellent saddles and traditional tack. The horseback rides are enjoyed within the estancia, in an environment of total privacy, touring plantations, places with extraordinary landscapes and views. When you arrive with the horses at an altitude of 2400 meters, with a 360-degree view you can see the Cerro del Plata and the Tupungato Volcano, where you can take magnificent photos and enjoy the local flora and fauna. The horseback rides are guided by a local gaucho, and by a bilingual guide who will tell you the story Aperitif & Lunch: upon returning from the activities, visitors are welcomed at the owners' house, with an excellent tasting of homemade empanadas paired with high-altitude wines, awaiting a great Creole barbecue with exclusively selected meats, fresh salads, vegetables baked in a clay oven and a regional dessert platter. We are part of a slow tourism, where we offer local products and vegetables, all homemade. After lunch, our guests can choose to relax and contemplate the majesty of the mountain, hike or other activities. In the afternoon, tea and coffee service, with homemade pastries. End of the day

Includes

Transportation to the Estancia approximately 95 km from Mendoza City. Upon arrival at the owners' house you will be welcomed with coffee/tea. Then you will start 2 hours of horseback riding with tame horses and comfortable saddles, through a path made between the mountains which guarantees the safety of our visitors. The rides are led by a local gaucho, accompanied by the bilingual hospitality manager. Upon arrival from the rides you will enjoy some tapas with local products and homemade empañadas in a clay oven. Lunch: Complete Asado Criollo with first class meats, homemade desserts, wine and water. The high altitude wines that are enjoyed with the meal are selected exclusively for our guests. After lunch coffee/tea service with homemade pastries. Afterwards we offer a unique experience: Perfumed wine experience, wine and perfume tasting, Showroom selling handmade products and handicrafts made by the community.
