Description

Make the most out of your stay in Argentina and let your local driver show you around. Admire the most popular attractions from the comfort of your own private car in a fully customizable tour. Your Welcomer will share the historical facts, the necessary information about the sights, and, of course, his personal input in order to immerse you into the Argentinian lifestyle. Start your day from the center of Buenos Aires, at Plaza de Mayο, where some of the most important events in the city take place. Named after the revolution of May 1810, the square faces the Metropolitan Cathedral, the main Catholic Church in the city that exhibits an impressive facade. Admire the Casa Rosada, the seat of the national government and the president’s office. Head south to San Telmo, the oldest and most emblematic neighborhood in Buenos Aires with historic mansions, cobblestone streets, and patios with fountains. This area is very popular with tourists as it offers restaurants, bars, cafes, and galleries giving a bohemian atmosphere. Further down travelers experience La Boca, the colorful neighborhood that houses El Caminito (little path, in Spanish) is a street museum of colorful painted houses typical of the immigrants that settled in the area. For football fans, no trip to Buenos Aires is complete without visiting the Bombonera stadium, as it’s officially called, home to Maradona’s beloved Boca Juniors team. Heading towards the north you will admire the Torre Monumental, an impressive clock tower, and Floralis Genérica, an extraordinary steel structure depicting an enormous flower that has been a striking city landmark since 2002. One of the most popular attractions of the city of Buenos Aires is the Recoleta Cemetery which is a rather unusual burial site. Argentina’s most famous figures, including Evita herself, are buried. You can finish your ride at Puerto Madero, the ultramodern, luxurious region occupying a significant portion of the Río de la Plata riverbank. Take a stroll through the iconic bridge of Puente de la Mujer, the design of which is inspired by a couple dancing the tango. Should you have time, visit Palermo, the largest barrio (neighborhood) that is divided into smaller parts like trendy Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. Palermo satisfies every visitor as it offers a wide range of restaurants, fashion stores, and parks.
