Departing from Bariloche, travel approximately 310 km to reach Trevelin, where the most beautiful tulip field in Argentina is located: Tulipanes Patagonia. This charming place, situated on Route 259, began in 1997 thanks to the vision of a local producer who invested in the cultivation of tulip bulbs in the region. Today, this venture exports its beautiful flowers worldwide, especially to Holland. The bulbs, planted in May, bloom in October, offering a spectacular display of colors in a unique valley in the world. Each year, the number of visitors doubles, drawn by the vibrant rainbow of tulips that contrasts with the imposing snow-capped mountains in the background. The visit to the field is self-guided, with a trail featuring 12 information stations about the tulips, the names of the mountains, and the history of the family business. It is important to respect the signage to protect this delicate crop.
